What usually breaks on a furnace?

Needless to say, if your furnace breaks down, it's not only a major inconvenience and a potentially costly repair. Therefore, understanding which parts of the oven are most likely to break is a crucial starting point in order to take steps to improve the lifespan of your oven and its components. Ovens are more likely to break down during the first cycle of the season, and this can cause some pretty serious headaches to anyone who has to deal with the problem. People don't change their air filters often enough, and that's not a good habit considering that the vast majority of furnace breakdowns can be attributed, at least in part, to a dirty air filter.

Like brake pads and tires in a car, there are components inside an oven that wear out with normal use.
